Welcome to Ace Volleyball Club

Ace Volleyball Club is dedicated to providing high level technical training and tactical instruction while fostering lifelong skills and a love for the game. We offer a safe, supportive, and child friendly environment where athletes can grow individually and develop their passion for volleyball.

Our experienced coaches deliver expert instruction and hands on demonstrations for players of all skill levels, from beginners to high school athletes. We welcome boys and girls of all ages and believe that with the right attitude, dedication, and ambition, anything is possible.

We offer year round practices, games, and summer camps across various locations in Virginia and Maryland. While we provide a variety of training programs, we do not form official club team.

Fall Clinics: September to November, Winter Clinics: December to March, Spring Clinics: March/April to June, Summer Clinics/Camp: June to July.

Li Chen - Head Coach

The Club Director and Head Coach brings a lifelong passion for volleyball, having competed at both the collegiate and professional levels as a six rotation player, serving as both a setter and right-side hitter. After a decade of extensive experience as an assistant coach with multiple NCAA Division I programs, along with serving as a head coach in the KRVA, GEVA, and CHRVA regions, he founded his own volleyball club in the DMV area to pursue his long standing vision of athlete development and competitive excellence.

As an assistant coach, he supported all aspects of NCAA Division I intercollegiate volleyball programs, including recruiting, practice planning, scheduling, and match preparation. His responsibilities included coaching setters, hitters and defensive systems, developing offensive schemes, scouting opponents, and leading technical demonstrations.
